Sacha, Daughter of guest
Without a doubt some of her happiest days and I’m so thankful for the love, kindness and fun shared with her. The centre is immaculately clean, lots of activities and a safe location. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Jerry, Son of guest
My 96 year old mother who suffers from vascular dementia has been attending the Chrysalis day centre for the last 12 months or so. She loves going and I know that while she is there she is being well cared-for. What stands out about the approach of Chrysalis is that they are very successful in getting their guests to forsake comfortable armchairs in the lounge for fun activities at large tables in a bright room where they are encouraged to sing, exercise, do crafts and play games. It is also commendable that they understand the importance of guests getting fresh air and sunshine. Meals and activities often take place out of doors. Guests have little opportunity for boredom or isolation. They are treated with respect and dignity in a good-humoured way. It is a place full of laughter and fun
